Our Story

Born in the Northeast

QuickYatra was founded in 2018 by a group of Northeast India natives who were tired of watching their home be misrepresented by generic tour operators. We built the travel company we always wished existed.

Today, we've helped over 2,400 travelers discover the real Northeast India — its living root bridges, floating islands, ancient monasteries, and the warmth of its 200+ indigenous communities. Every trip we design is a love letter to this extraordinary land.

Our Mission

To make Northeast India's extraordinary destinations accessible to conscious travelers, while ensuring that local communities benefit economically and culturally from every visit.

Our Vision

To become the most trusted travel brand for Northeast India — one that travelers recommend not just for the experiences, but for the integrity, safety, and genuine care we bring to every journey.

Our Focus

Why Northeast India?

Northeast India is home to 200+ indigenous tribes, 8 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the world's cleanest river, the world's largest river island, and some of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth. Yet it remains one of the most underexplored regions in Asia.

We believe this is about to change. And we want to be the bridge that connects curious travelers with this extraordinary land — responsibly, authentically, and with deep respect for the communities that call it home.
